The London Legal Walk attracted an impressive 10,000 participants on foot, creating a vibrant atmosphere with street food, live entertainment, and music. I partnered with a marketing agency to ensure our charity stood out in the crowd and captured participant details for future engagement. This was made possible through the following strategies:
Charity stand
I successfully secured the privilege to host a stand in the prime location right next to the start and finish line. This meant that all 10,000 attendees passed by, providing us with a fantastic opportunity to reach a large audience.
Merchandise, bunting, banners and other items
Attracting visitors was a breeze with our branded popcorn and free goody bags. Within the first hour, we successfully distributed all 1,500 servings of popcorn and 500 goody bags.
Additionally, I equipped our teammates with pink wigs and branded t-shirts to make sure The Solicitors' Charity stood out in every event photograph, guaranteeing a dominant presence on social media posts.
Drip fed digital content via multiple channels
I crafted and designed compelling content using Photoshop and InDesign for distribution across web platforms, social media, and eNewsletters. Each piece prominently featured the tagline "Don't sweat it, we've got your backs." These publications were strategically designed to ignite anticipation among our established audience and captivate the interest of potential new followers.
All of the above activities were conducted through management of a budget.
