Background

Literature Events:

Following the rebranding of council-run libraries, I was entrusted with the task of devising an enticing strategy to attract residents to visit. I conducted a thorough assessment of direct competitors such as high street bookshops and other leisure activities. Armed with this valuable insight, I crafted a fresh and innovative approach. Arts Events:

The council spearheaded a multitude of arts and music initiatives for local community artists. My aim was to champion the promotion of concerts and achieve record-breaking attendance figures.

I took the lead in organizing compelling literary events, including guest readings and autograph signings with renowned authors. These engaging gatherings were held across the county on a continuous basis.

I introduced the tactic of capturing the email addresses of attendees to ensuring they remained engaged and informed about future talks. Additionally, I effectively promoted these exclusive seminars by strategically placing advertisements on social media platforms and in the newsletters and magazine articles of partnering organisations. Leveraging the influence of the authors and their publishing companies, I successfully expanded the reach of these activities through their promotional channels.

In tandem, I orchestrated captivating arts events, captivating the community through targeted promotions in magazines, social media, websites, newsletters, and external advertisements on platforms such as Eventbrite and Design My Night. With a focus on fostering lasting connections, I adeptly gathered the email addresses of attendees, allowing for continued engagement and communication.
